My family started out on a looong trip around Ohio . We began our trip wanting to visit some natural resources. We headed southwest for about 121 miles that took 2 hours and 1 minute until we reached the city of Cincinatti. The first natural resource was the Giant Redwood Trees. They looked like they were 150 years old and the tree trunks were so large that you could carve a tunnel wide enough for a car to drive through.
Wow
Our second natural resource stop was seeing the Ohio River. My sister and I looked out the car windows and saw the Till Plain the entire time.
in Cincinnati. There were a lot of pictures of famous baseball players like Johnny Bench and Joe Morgan. We stayed at the Cincinnatian Hotel which had a really cool water fountain at the front entrance. The next morning we ate a yummy french toast and waffle breakfast before heading over to Kings Island & Coco Key Water Resort. There were a lot of water rides and snow cones that cooled us down.

Cleveland was the next city that we wanted to explore in Ohio. We headed northeast for about 239 miles which took us 3 hours and 45 minutes exactly! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for the night and were able to stop by and get some chocolate from Fantasy Candies' Chocolate Factory about 11.5 miles away.
Fantasy Candies
The Chocolate looked so fresh I wanted to steel all of it. The next day we went to Cedar Point. We had so much fun because we rode a lot of really tall rides that were super fast!
Cedar Point is awesome
July 23
Our next adventure took us to Akron that was about 106 miles east traveling for 1 hour and 53 minutes . My dad wanted to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame & Museum.
Pro Football Hall of Fame & Museum
My family saw pictures that we thought were very old because they were printed all in black and white color. We took a short 8 mile drive northwest and arrived at a store named "Harry London Chocolates". The candy smelled so good that I asked for a sample of the dark chocolate, my sister tasted a chocolate that was shaped like a crown and my dad ate some with peanuts. My mom was getting tired and decided to reserve a room for us to spend the night at the Great Wolf Lodge. The room had a bunk bed and I got to sleep on the top! The lodge had a very cool indoor water park with rides that went from the inside to the outside and then back inside.
July 24
We drove west 2 hours and 14 min that is 138 miles to Toledo. First, we went to the Hampton Inn, sat our stuff down and got settled in. Soon we went to the sports arena and had a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot of fun there. Then we went to the Toledo Museum of art

July 25
Next, we went east to Lake Erie about 219 miles for 3 hour 29 minutes. We stayed at the awesome South Beach Resort Hotel for three days.
South Beach Resort
At the South Beach Resort,my mom enjoyed sunbathing while the rest of the family played in the water. My sister and I had surfing races and I beat her to the shore. I hurried inside because I had way to much sand in my pants. It got late so I went and took a shower and went to bed. the next day me and my dad built a sand castle that had rocks and sand for the walls . It was so fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
July 28
Finally, we traveled south about 129 miles for 2 hours 45 minutes and arrived at the Historical Center in Columbus . Franklin Park was only 4.4 miles away so we spent an entire day there and had ice cream for a snack. We stayed at the Hilton Hotel at Easton which is a four star hotel. My mom & sister really liked how clean everything was and all the shopping. My dad and I enjoyed Graeter's Ice Cream and the AMC Movie Theaters . Our last stop was making a quick stop to COSI so we could learn about a ton of cool stuff. We got to experiment a lot and even rode a bike on a wire that ran high above the ground. Our trip is now done and I must say that Ohio is tons of
